GC Rams Girls Lacrosse Registration

2004 Season

Registration will take place during the month of November & December at Olympic Den, 676 Dogwood Avenue in Franklin Square (486-0975). Registration forms are available at Olympic Den Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration forms are also available at the Village Recreation Department.

Indoor Skills Development Program

This year we will again be holding an Indoor Skills Development Program starting in January. Time schedules will be published at a later date. Participation is open to all girls in the third through eighth grade who reside in Garden City or who attend school in Garden City.

Girls Rams Lacrosse Is A Travel Program

Important notice to parents and players! Game and practice conflicts occur when participants are involved with more than one sport during the spring season. We ask that you consider this when registering you daughter to play. While every effort is made to coordinate practice and game schedules with other sports, it is not always possible. Lacrosse is a spring sport and we ask each participant to make it their priority sport for the season. The official season starts on March 1 and ends June 30. Games are played on either Saturday or Sunday and practices are limited to two per week. Players who miss practices or games my find their playing time held to league minimum.

Registration

GC Girls Rams Lacrosse is a member of US Lacrosse and Positive Coaching Alliance. The registration fee is $110.00 per player. The fee includes uniform, mouth guard and USL membership. There is a $30 late fee for any player registering after December 2, 2003. All uniform orders must be placed at the time of registration. There are no exchanges on uniforms if you incorrectly order. Sample uniforms are available at Olympic Den. Checks must be made payable to Garden City Rams Girls Lacrosse. No cash will be accepted; your canceled check is your receipt. A copy of your daughter's birth certificate must be submitted at the time of registration. The program does not maintain copies of player birth certificates. Incomplete applications will be returned. Application deadline is January 12, 2004. No applications will be accepted after that date.

Youth Coaches and Adult Supervisors

Needed

High School Youth Coaches and adult supervisors are needed for both the indoor and outdoor programs! Coaches meetings and training sessions will be held starting in late December.
